At Duralive Decking, every composite decking project is designed with longevity in mind. That’s why we offer an Installation Guarantee of up to 10 years, depending on the materials used and the structural design of your deck.

Many decking installers rely solely on the manufacturer’s product warranty, which typically covers the decking boards themselves — but not the quality of the installation or the structure beneath. If problems arise due to poor design, inadequate airflow, or sub-frame failure, homeowners are often left without protection.

Our Installation Guarantee is different. It reflects how decks actually perform over time, covering the workmanship and structural integrity of the installation — because what sits beneath the boards matters just as much as what you see on the surface.

Why Guarantee Lengths Vary
The lifespan of any deck is determined by airflow, moisture exposure, and the materials used in the supporting structure. For this reason, our installation guarantee varies depending on the sub-frame system specified for your project.

This allows us to stand behind our workmanship with confidence — and offer longer protection where the structure allows.
Timber Sub-Frames (Suitable in Certain Applications)
In applications where a minimum of 50mm airflow can be maintained beneath the deck and drainage conditions are suitable, we can offer our installation guarantee on pressure-treated timber sub-frames.
This provides a cost-effective solution where ground conditions allow and the deck is not installed directly onto the ground.
Recycled Plastic Sub-Frames (Recommended for Maximum Longevity)
Where ground clearance is limited, or where long-term durability is the priority, we recommend recycled plastic sub-frames.
These systems are completely rot-proof, unaffected by moisture, and ideally suited to low-level or shaded installations. As a result, decks built on recycled plastic frames qualify for our longest installation guarantee periods — up to 10 years.
